Database Systems

generalinfo.jpgDr. Potters, with the assistance of Paul Fearn, have developed several generations of database's to manage and assess the outcomes from patients treated for prostate cnacer. Our current (Microsoft) Access version database, called PRDb (Prostate research Database) contains the records of over 2100 patients in a private and secure data model. This system is used to track and manage patient care. Shortly, a web based version of the database will be available using (Microsoft).Net. This system (call Project Halyard) will be HIPPA compliant and will allow for multi-departmental data to be stored in a secure fashon. The New York Prostate Institute and Dr. Potters are pleased to support Project Halyard. For more information please visit www.cancerdb.org.
