Prostate-specific antigen
- PSA stands for Prostate-Specific Antigen. The PSA test analyzes a blood sample. The sample for PSA, a substance the prostate gland naturally produces to help liquefy semen. Higher than normal levels of PSA may indicate prostate cancer.
